strength in teaching personal accountability to the real, holy loving God of the Bible, ()His revelation of himself) to those willing to hear.Strength two is in ministering to strengthen families. Strength three is in recognizing the variety and shape of music cultures in Christian music, and attempting to program the various segments in clumps, so as to satisfy many preferences in Christian music.
Leaving aside technical things, weakness one is airing mediocre music. I refer not to style, but to content, musicianship, production and inspiration. I want to set this right alongside the many lovely yet not overly acclaimed songs you do play, so you do not get discouraged, or think of this as a generalized criticism of a few music genres. I try to practise cultural compassion in measuring all art from postmodern music/art to primitive cultural expressions. Yet I feelthateven good theology does not excuse bad music, and it’s better to send a locally produced cd back to its maker for corrections that will bless the performer, the station and the hearers than play an inferior product/message. This is my mani struggle. Even when I mind a song so much I can’t keep listening to the end, I just turn it down, not off or to another station. Your work is important and valuable. God Bless!
i’ll answer the rest soon.
